The Changanacherry Club, founded in 1997 by a group of 15 like minded businessmen and professionals has now been exalted as the pride of the region for its glory and reach. The membership has grown from 15 to 700 in a quarter of a century. The Club has been widely acclaimed for its activities that stretch over multifaceted spheres, encompassing the social, cultural and charity concerns of the locality and around.
The strategic location of the club is yet another gain with respect to its might and glory. The Club is located at Changanacherry, hailed as the Land of Five lamps, on the Changanacherry Byepass road close to the Main Central Road.
Changanacherry with its sylvan settings is also the gateway to Alleppey, ‘the Venice of the East’ and the Highranges. It is also the entrance to Thekkedy, Munnar and Kumarakom backwaters. The leisurely sailing in the Houseboats along the wide canals and rivers in Alleppy and Kumarakom add charm to the visits to
these places.
Changanacherry is also the seat of religious harmony as all religions co-exist peacefully here and their festivals bringing the communal harmony and National Integration of our society.
